After last week’s non-stop tour of Northern football grounds, I’m pleased to say that I’ve been able to spend most of this week grounded at Jak HQ. It’s been no easy week, however, and I’m afraid this’ll be an unusually quick post!

Lots to be getting on with!

This week, we’ve each been working our way down a crazy to-do list. Several proposals have been submitted for exciting website and marketing projects, and the design and print jobs coming in have been never-ending!

To name but a few, there’s been…

  • Posters for a letting agent.
  • Price lists for a hair salon.
  • Brochures for an exotic pet shop.
  • NCR pads, 20,000 leaflets, and folders for an estate agents.
  • Large posters that’ll be on display in Newcastle City Centre.
  • Postcards for a tattoo removal company.
  • Stickers for the Polar Express Experience.
  • Letterheads for a hotel.

And it’s been just as crazy a week in the Full Colour Cards office, but I’m very pleased to share a little snippet of feedback we received today:

“The only feedback I can give is for Full Colour Cards to continue what they are doing. The customer support is better than any other company I’ve used, and any issues we’ve had have only been due to our own mistakes rather than anything they’ve done.

Needless to say, I’ve recommended them to others, as they are by far the best printing company available.”

Hearing such glowing reviews always brings a smile to my face.

Also, we’ve signed up two new Print Partners who have gone live this week. As ever, if you’re interested in becoming a Print Partner yourself, just give me a shout and we can run through the benefits over a cuppa.

November’s edition of In & Around went off to print this week, along with its sister publication in Darlington, and they’ll be hitting the streets next week. Meanwhile, In & Around Online is going fantastically well, and we’ve just launched the new Business Directory on the site.

Starting next week, we’ll also be offering advertising space from as little as £10. With the staggering amount of traffic we’ve had so far, this isn’t an opportunity to be missed. Plus, existing In & Around customers can benefit from 50% off all advertising rates.

As for Bill & Ben, this business never ceases to amaze me. I mentioned our latest football related venture, and we’ll be putting the finishing touches to the business plans over the next couple of weeks. I wish I could share more details, but football fans will have to watch this space!

Speaking of football, this weekend is Derby Weekend. Whether you support either Sunderland or Newcastle, I’m sure you and I will be tuning in to what I hope will be a great spectacle!

Have a great weekend!

Anything is possible,
